A diverse mix of businesses attended our Business Growth Workshop held at Berkhamsted Cricket Club in West Herts.

COACHING NOT JUST FOR SPORTS.

As August approached, we had found our feet in what has been an exciting chapter starting up, as the Local Business Coach in Tring, Hertfordshire. Ready to apply ActionCOACH’s proven business methodologies and strategies, we were eager to share that insight and knowledge with the local business community. The organisation and preparation were complete, most importantly the blueberry muffins were out of the oven and we were keen to see what the afternoon would bring!

Despite it being the holiday season, we were delighted with the attendance and pleasantly surprised at the diversity of businesses. From cleaning, accounting, fitness to retail, there was certainly a mix of businesses. Those who were celebrating milestones and/or going through various challenges. Attendees took the workshop, as an opportunity to network with other businesses, something many of them highlighted was useful to them and their business.

After introductions were made, Simon asked everyone what business topics they would like to cover to get one step closer to their Personal and Business goals.

The next part was the important part, learning the 6 Steps to Accelerating Business Growth. Simon guided everyone through the methodologies along with other helpful business tips. Ideas and challenges were shared and everyone appreciated having a growing network of people to speak to. Not to mention revealing the Coaching opportunities amongst them all!

We took a break which meant more time for networking and more time for muffins. All of which by this point were long gone. Attendees had a look at our range of business learning books including, Instant Leads, Questions are the Answers and of course the classic Pig Wrestling.

Simon continued with the second half of the ‘6 Steps to Accelerating Business Growth’ and each attendee took at least 3 strategies to implement within their business, some of those being….

  • Set Goals for the business
  • Revisit Mission and Vision for myself and the team
  • Work on USP and Value Proposition 
  • Understand why we need Cashflow

And our personal favourite…

  •  Coloured pens!

The enjoyment didn’t stop there as the bar opened for a few bevvies.
